Kings Cross

66002 bringing the empty stock for UK Railtours excursion to Locomotion at Shildon and Stanhope on the Weardale Railway into King's Cross at just after 7.30 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, 11th May 2019. This locomotive deputised for a failed class 67 but with 67021 at the head. Because of this time was lost on the journey, compounded by a level crossing problem south of York which saw a queue of trains build up, one of which was this excursion and which resulted in the arrival at Shildon being one hour and ten minutes late.
