Blackrod
185122 passes Blackrod at speed with a Manchester Airport to Edinburgh service on 02 March 2010. Quite a few changes have taken place here in the intervening years with the electrification of the Preston to Manchester line. Class 185s have been replaced by Class 350s on these services and those are themselves expected to be replaced by the new Class 397s once they are accepted from the manufacturer.
