Woodacre Crossing
A bright red loco on a bright red train. Remodelling of Acton Grange Junction has forced a closure of the WCML through Warrington for two weeks in July/August 2019 and many trains are being diverted via the Chat Moss line, Piccadilly and Wilmslow. The Class 325 EPUs cannot work over Chat Moss under their own power and so are being dragged by Class 90s. DBS 90018 'The Pride of Bellshill' heads south at Woodacre on the evening of 22nd July with a Shieldmuir to Willesden mail train.
