Bangkok Hua Lamphong
The 18.30 sleeper train to Chiang Mai sits in Bangkok's main railway station on 23rd August 2019. Hua Lamphong has fourteen platforms. This is a journey of around 450 miles and takes thirteen hours but the stock was very comfortable. Loco 4507 is one of a class of twenty two diesel electrics built for Thai Railways by Hitachi in 1993. Photo by Mark Edwards.
