UK Railtours' excursion to the Midland Railway Centre started at London Victoria and made its somewhat unusual way to the ECML at Harringay via the West London, North London and GOBLIN lines of the London Overground. Here at Alexandra Palace (formerly Wood Green) it is at last about to head north as it pauses to pick up more day-trippers on 4th May 2019. I could have easily boarded the train here as I live quite close to Ally Pally but then I'd have missed having my first ride ever on the normally freight only/empty stock workings spur between the GOBLIN at Crouch Hill and the ECML at Harringay.
