Peebles CR and NBR Junction
View north along Tweed Avenue, Peebles, in the spring of 2017 towards the road junction with Walker's Haugh. The embankment and infilled bridge on the right once carried the line linking the Caledonian system on the south side of the River Tweed (behind the camera) with the NB system on the north side. The line joined the NB approximately 250 yards further on at Peebles Junction to the east of the goods yard, just short of the NB station. See image 38441
