An untouched fragment remains of the CR's goods branch for Leith Docks and is seen looking west on 31 December 2019. Behind me is the cycle path through Seafield, and ahead was the remainder of the branch, all swept away. The goods station was originally called South Leith, like the NB's on the other side of Salamander Street. It laterally took the name Leith East - faute de mieux as it was actually south of the remaining South Leith.
