Leith East Goods
Site of the former Caledonian Leith East goods station seen looking north towards the docks in August 2011, with the vacant yard on the near side of the red brick wall 35359. Beyond the tenement on the other side of Salamander Street stood the NB South Leith goods station 30277, while the pile of scrap in the left background stands on the the original Edinburgh & Dalkeith route to South Leith passenger station 27583. Rails can still be seen imbedded in the cobbles of Salamander Place on the left 3175.
