Two road bridges were sited some 100 yards apart over the line between Sinnington Station and Pickering. The first is Riseborough Bridge - HMY29 - viewed looking north on the local road between Pickering and Marton, with a left turn onto the bridge at each end, and the junction for the road to Riseborough seen at bottom right. This bridge sits astride a very deep cutting on the line to Pickering some two miles east, and I have since taking this view become aware that this is what is known locally as Sinnington Viaduct, due to its three arch structure which I noted recently but have still to get access for a photo. A few years ago a farm worker driving over in the early hours during harvest fell asleep and his tractor and trailer crashed through the east side parapet falling onto the trackbed below. The next bridge is a rail overbridge - HMY30 - across Spa Lane, showing how much the ground falls over the short distance. See image 72002
