Finsbury Park

Stanier Coronation Class 4-6-2 no. 46233, 'Duchess of Sutherland', built at Crewe in 1938, seen here at Finsbury Park station with a Railway Touring Company excursion from Ealing Broadway to Peak Rail at Matlock, on 4th June 2017. This locomotive was withdrawn in 1964 and sold to Butlin's for display at their Ayr holday camp. In 1996, it was acquired by The Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust and restored to working order in 2001 and 16 years later hauled this excursion train to Derby where 57314 took over to Rowsley South.
