Aberdeen Gas Works 0-4-0ST No. 3 (AB 1889 of 1926) photographed with a rake of wagons at Guild Street on 28 July 1956. This locomotive was later preserved and is now on display at the Grampian Transport Museum in Alford, as seen in image 12565. The locomotive is taking the train round the tight bend at the head of Market Street before heading east along Trinity Quay, Regent Quay and Waterloo Quay after which a turn north by Church Street and Miller Street reached the gas works.
