Burnley Barracks
At the time of my visit in 2010, the platform shelter at Burnley Barracks station did not afford much overhead cover. Fortunately the road bridge did offer good overhead protection, although it could be a bit of a wind tunnel if the wind was from the east! The view westwards along the platform towards Gannow Jct. The fact that this was formerly a double track railway is evidenced by the overgrown disused platform on the right. plus the two sets of smoke deflectors on the overbridge in the middle distance.
