Auchendinny Tunnel
The graceful curved of Auchendinny Tunnel on the Penicuik branch, looking east towards Hawthornden Junction in the spring of 2013. The photograph was taken from the bridge over the North Esk, which was crossed by westbound trains immediately on leaving the tunnel to reach the platform of Auchendinny station.
