Tottenham Court Road [EL]
Behind this hoarding at Tottenham Court Road, in the heart of central London, works are taking place to enlarge the station (currently served by the LU Central and Northern Lines) for Crossrail, seen here on 11th April 2014. Crossrail should have opened in December 2018, put back to autumn 2019 and then put back again to either late 2020 or early 2021. But with this terrible coronavirus pandemic, there is no telling now when the line will actually open.
