Bathgate Upper
Having taken water at the closed Bathgate Upper station, J36 65243 'Maude' sets off towards Bathgate yard with a trainload of coal from a local colliery. Remarkable that this veteran was still in service in January 1965 when many much younger locos, including BR Standard classes, had been withdrawn.
