A 158 boarding at the east end of platform 9 on 5 October 2017. On the left one of the massive piers supporting Edinburghs North Bridge is integrated within the stations south wall. Beyond the fence on the right is part of the station car park, with the two-tone blue of the 2006 IECC extension to the Edinburgh signalling centre in the background.
