As we flew back from Barcelona to Stansted on 2nd March, I noticed that we were flying parallel to the Brighton to London line. Study of Google Maps suggests that this viaduct, with a lengthy up train crossing, is Balcombe viaduct. I stand prepared to be shot down by anyone who knows the Southern better than me.
