Ferryhill Shed [2nd]
Preserved GNoSR No. 49 makes a lovely sight in the shed yard at Ferryhill depot. The date was 28th July 1964 and the loco was back in home territory in order to be present at the naming ceremony of Deltic D9016, also to be given the name 'Gordon Highlander'. The ceremony took place that day in Aberdeen station.
