Low Marishes
Looking at the roadside frontage of the former crossing keepers cottages at Low Marishes, with the trackbed to right of view. Note the arched chimney stack that would have served the single open fire in each cottage. I am advised that this style of chimney is on other extant keepers cottages around the York area.
