The last arch at the north end of the mainly brick Fylde Road Viaduct is this stone structure, which still carries the WCML. Now hidden away at the back of a tyre distributor's car park this bridge once spanned the Lancaster Canal but the section in the city fell into disuse in the 1950s, was dewatered and eventually filled in. 6th December 2020
