Fylde Road Viaduct (1840-)

Opened on the Lancaster and Preston Junction Railway.

Description

This is a fine bridge over Fylde Road of dressed stone with footpath arches on either side and a roadway arch in the middle (a little narrow for a two lane modern road).

To the north are a series of railway arches and formerly a crossing over the Lancaster Canal.
