Watford
Two trains of LUL S8 stock at Watford station, on 26th January 2013. Under long-standing plans to divert trains via a new link to the old Croxley Green branch, relay that to Watford High Street and run Metropolitan trains to Watford Junction, this station would be closed and the go-ahead for this was given but later cancelled before any work was done. Although this terminus is somewhat remote from Watford town centre, it serves a large residential catchment area so just as well it is staying open.
