Bude
Another photo trying to identify where the railway was once located in Bude. At the time the photo was taken, the feature that caught my eye was the concrete fence in the middle of the picture. It reminded me of the style of fence used by the Southern Railway. A check on NLS maps has shown that the railway was indeed on the other side of the fence, the site of the station was behind the large building in the background and the engine shed to the left of it. Photo taken from beside Kings Hill Road looking north in July 2008.
