Cawton Gate Crossing
View looking west along a recently excavated section of what was slightly raised trackbed on the section of line running between Hovingham Spa station and Cawton Gate crossing, with the keepers cottages at Cawton Gate just beyond the trees in the distance. This section is being dug out by Hovingham Estates to convert it to arable land and join up the land on either side. A re-routed permissive path is being created to the right of the arable land.
