Low House Crossing SB, approximately 1.5 miles north of Armathwaite on the S&C is seen from a passing train. The box is a block post, with Culgaith 15 miles to the south and Howe & Cos Siding SB, 3 miles to the north and also controls a level crossing on a main road.
