Newcraighall Colliery
A track linked the sidings at Niddrie West Junction with Newcraighall Colliery and here is where it went under a still existing footpath, the one that has made possible all those views of Niddrie West Junction (just a little north of here). As far as I know this is the only remaining sign of the pit's existence. Its site is covered by a Fort Kinnaird retail park.
