Monktonhall Junction
A Virgin Trains East Coast service to Kings Cross photographed six miles out from Waverley in the spring of 2018. The train has just come off the long curve east from Musselburgh past the site of the original Monktonhall Junction. Both sides of the embankment here have seen recent cutback of vegetation.
