The Caledonian Bar opposite the CR's Leith terminus bore that name until 2010 or so, changing to something else for its last few years. On conversion to a house this Victorian lettering was revealed. Probably to avoid confusion with the NB's North Leith, Leith North was referred to as Leith Caledonian locally, and was the name of a tram destination.
