Gartness Junction
Gartness Junction from above. The junction formed a V which can be made out in the lower centre of this view. The course of the Forth and Clyde Junction Railway ran from bottom centre to top right (where Gartness station was located). The Strathendrick and Aberfoyle ran from bottom centre (along the left edge of the field in the centre of the view), crossed over the Endrick Water and continued towards the right hand of the new houses and on to Killearn and Dumgoyne stations (the hill of this name can be seen on the left).
