Gartness Junction
The approach of the Strathendrick and Aberfoyle has been ploughed out for a short distance south east of Gartness Viaduct. This was a West Highland style viaduct which crossed the Endrick Water. The line followed the left side of the large group of trees before turning to the right to join the Forth and Clyde Junction Railway which runs from left to right in this view. The view looks north west with the Conic Hill in the distant left.
