Balshaw Lane Junction
46100 'Royal Scot' brings Saphos Trains 'The Fellsman' railtour back to Crewe from Carlisle on 4 August 2021. The tour is seen passing Balshaw Lane Junction and was working hard on the climb to the summit near Coppull after being held to allow the Blackpool to Liverpool service to head south first. The bark from the loco could be heard for sometime after it had passed in the still evening air.
