A1 Pacific 60163 Tornado charges north at Balshaw Lane Jct on 5 July 2014 as it meets a Glasgow to London Virgin Pendolino at a closing speed of almost 200 mph whilst working the UK Railtours Border Raider. The tour had started in London and the A1 took over from a Class 90 for the run north over Shap to Carlisle.
