Burscough Junction
This former mill complex at Burscough has been converted into residential apartments, overlooking the Leeds Liverpool Canal. The cast iron bridge, manufactured in Leeds, carries the Preston to Ormskirk line. Actually there are two separate bridges but only one is needed now the line is singled. This view looks east as 156429 crosses the canal and slows to call at the station on 13th September 2021.
