Burscough Junction
It is very unusual on the Preston to Ormskirk line for a train to run on a Sunday. The 6th of July however was an exception when Network Rail & Northern Rail laid on a free train service to coincide with Community Rail Day. One of the Ormskirk bound services is seen waiting to depart.The unused platform on the left has recently been cleared and both platforms have been securely fenced.
