Edinburgh Waverley

The BR class 92 was built in the early 1990s to operate between Britain and France through the channel tunnel. Nowadays the locomotives are generally seen on domestic freight or Caledonian Sleeper duties, as is the case with 92044, seen here stabled at the east end of Waverley on the morning of 24 March 2017 (the NB clock shows 11.10). The locomotive is being operated by Serco at this time, although it still carries BR Railfreight 'triple grey' livery, as well as the name Couperin alongside its three Channel Tunnel rings.
