Luton
Bus on the then brand new Luton & Dunstable Guided Busway, on the trackbed of the former GNR Dunstable North to Welwyn Garden City branch, closed to passengers in 1965, approaching Stanton Road for Luton & Dunstable Hospital stop in Luton, on 2nd October 2013. Reports at this time stated that most Dunstable residents, one of the largest towns in England without a rail service, would have preferred to have seen the line restored instead.
