Buxton Quarry
Theoretically not the actual Buxton quarry but Hillhead Quarry Buxton where this years Plant show was being held. The picture shows the railway running from middle left to bottom right, going over the bridge on Heath View Harpur Hill. The line continues to Tarmac's Hindlow Quarry and ends in Breedon (Buxton) Downlow Quarry, both have loading points. Going the opposite way the railway joins the main line in Buxton.
The Quarry with the tall chimney in the middle distance isTarmacs Tunstead Quarry which now has a Carbon Neutral Cement Plant.
