The former edge of the up (Cork) platform at Ballineen and Enniskeane is visible running up to the wall of the playpark with the now abandoned station building and station master's house to the left. The car appears to be sitting partly on the former down platform and partly on the filled-in trackbed. Aside from the passing loop there was a small engine shed located at the western end of the down platform, a ballast pit and sidings to the south and west (now woodland), a goods store and loading bank (which survive on private land belonging to a pitch and putt course) and a cattle pen and loading area to the west of the station.
