Bankhead [Tram]
Bankhead tram stop, Edinburgh Trams, seen from passing Lothian Bus on route 2 to The Jewel, in the late afternoon of 18th June 2022. After a pleasant lunchtime meeting and train photoing session with Bill Roberton, I went for another tram ride and, just for a change, I decided to go back by bus from Edinburgh Park to the city centre and then catch another to Gorgie where I was staying with my friend Paul who had other things to do on this day. As a Londoner on holiday, I didn't quite know where I was going but was happy as long as I got to Haymarket. But to my surprise, the route 2 bus eventually turned down a side road and emerged on to Gorgie Road near the South Sub railway bridge, which was exactly where I wanted to get to!
