Weybourne
This photo, of D6732 (formerly 37032, 37353) leaving Weybourne for Holt on 12th July 2022 is memorable to me, not for the subject matter, but for what happened immediately after the train had passed. Along the fence line is another photographer in shorts, and beyond him, a young girl petting a small dog. As the other photographer returned to the station past the dog, it leapt out and bit him savagely in the leg, drawing blood. The NNR station staff administered first aid promptly and sent the shocked victim to A & E for a tetanus jab. Such are the risks of photographing a Class 37 in view of a small dog ...
