Aviemore

Two Sulzer Type 2 diesels in mid-manoeuvre at Aviemore in 1965. The BR built loco in the foreground brought in a one-coach afternoon service from Elgin via Craigellachie, and the BRCW (later) Class 26 at the far end is ready to shunt the coach into another platform to form the 16.50 to Craigellachie (see image [82323]). Just discernible in the further distance, another Class 26 is heading away with a northbound freight.
