Stroan Viaduct

Scene a mile west of New Galloway on the former Port Road heading for Stranraer in May 2010. Photograph taken standing alongside Loch Stroan, with the Stroan Viaduct now forming part of a long distance walking route. The main body of the Loch opens up off to the right, while the trackbed of the Port Road continues west towards the remains of the next station on the line at Loch Skerrow.
