Kirkdale
508136 departs from Kirkdale with the 17.36 for Liverpool Central. 508138 is the unit at the top end of Kirkdale depot and some of the new Class 777 units are just visible too. Introduction of the 777s is presently delayed. Meanwhile the availability of Class 507/8 which are all over 42 years old now is somewhat less than desired especially at peak times when there is demand for 6-car trains.
