You could explore the area of Tilton station - now a poultry farm - and never realize that this bridge support was there. It was built to support the main line end of a narrow gauge quarry railway. Stone was unloaded from quarry wagons to main line wagons by gravity from about fifty feet up - so a bit of a climb is required from the standard gauge trackbed to see this relic.
