Morden South
Morden South, on the Wimbledon & Sutton Line, was opened by the Southern Railway on 5th January 1930 with the extension from South Merton and is seen here on 15th October 2022. The station is less well known than the LU Northern Line terminus even though the tube depot, in a deep cutting, is visible from its south end. It has always suffered from its close proximity to the tube and for many years the station was closed on Sundays but is now open full-time again.
