Izmir Basmane
This was the last photo I took during a short stay in Izmir before leaving for Bandirma and the ferry back to Istanbul. The R Stephenson 2-8-2 46105, works no 4073 of 1932, was decorated with the Turkish Flag and other embellishments. I cannott find anything of significance on this date so it perhaps it was the driver's birthday or retirement. Basmane station, Izmir, on 8th September 1975.
