Whalley Viaduct

The inaugural working of a new flow of aggregates crosses Whalley Arches behind 66793 on 18th January 2023. This was the 6M28 07:50 Rylstone to Leyland Enterprise Sidings for the Fox Group, who have been working with Lancashire County Council for two years to bring the sidings at Farington Junction near Leyland back into use. The group will be using Volvo electric tippers to move the aggregate to the final users.
