Chester
The only electrified line at Chester station is the west end of Platform 7, where the Merseyrail 3rd-rail EMUs call every fifteen minutes. 507030 pauses briefly before heading back to Liverpool. The old EMUs will be on the Chester line a while longer as plans are to convert the Northern lines to 777 trains before addressing the Wirral line services.
