Largs Pier
An unusual departure from Largs in the summer of 1972, as MV 'Maid of Skelmorlie' sets off with the 'Keppel' roped alongside her. Unfortunately I did not keep a note of the circumstances, but possibly the 'Keppel' had developed a fault and was being taken somewhere for repair. TS 'Queen Mary II' stands off in the background, waiting for the pier to clear.
