Scorton [Lancashire] [1st]
57313 'Scarborough Castle' takes a Northern Belle rake south along the WCML at Scorton on 21st April 2023. The M6 runs parallel to the line at this point but is hidden in the trees. The land rises up steeply behind the railway for about 500' to the cairn that can be seen, and then less steeply behind that to the trig point at Nicky Nook.
